The egg yolk adds just enough richness to compliment all of the other ingredients in this dish!

This Stir-Fried Sweet & Sour Fish was the perfect dish to try when I was in the mood for something light. The stir-fry chunky pcs dory fish, onions, bell peppers & pineapple tossed in sweet & tangy sauce was delicious! It has a nice balance of flavors that are both sweet and sour, but not too much of either one.
The fish is tender and flaky, which makes it easy to eat with chopsticks. The vegetables are crisp and fresh-tasting–I especially loved the bell peppers because they had just enough spice to add some zing without being overwhelming.

I’m a big fan of the Signature Hainanese Pork Chop at Han’s. It’s my go-to when I’m feeling like something spicy and savory, but not too heavy. The pork chop slices are juicy and tender, and the speciality hainanese tomato sauce is rich enough to balance out the spice but not so heavy that it feels like a whole meal in itself.
The rice is also great—it’s a little bit sticky, which I love because it sticks to my chopsticks so they don’t slip off when I pick up my food. The sauce has just enough kick to keep things interesting without being overwhelming, and the rice balances it out nicely.

Han’s Cafe Fried Rice with Ham, Prawn & Egg

Han’s Cafe Fish and Chips
A classic British favorite, Fish and Chips is the epitome of comfort food. This dish is battered and fried dory fillets served with french fries, salad, sliced lemon and tartar sauce.
The fish is tender and flaky while the batter on the outside adds a nice crunchy texture to the dish. The fries are crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside and pair well with their tartar sauce. The salad makes for a nice contrast from everything else in the dish as it is light and refreshing but also provides a burst of flavor to balance out all the other ingredients.
The tartar sauce is amazing—it has just the right amount of tanginess, and it pairs well with the lemon slices for an extra citrus kick. Overall, this was a great dish that I would definitely recommend!

In 1977 Mr Han Choon Fook offered caked to his friends, which was made by his brother Choon Kuang. These cakes received excellent comments on quality. Mr Han Choon Fook was a civil servant while his brother was a baker at the former red house bakers. He was also working at confectioners shop in Victoria street.
Later 1978, Hans brother’s cake became popular and this thing inspired him to quit his jobs and open a small bakery with his brother. SO in 1980 they opened their cafe, Han’s Cafe, in the Arcade. They start their work by serving Hainanese mainstays such as pork chops and homemade soups.
In 2003 Han’s cafe opened their biggest store namely ‘The Tasty Town’ at Great Eastern Centre in the central Business District. In 2004, they received super brands award which enhance their business.
At the end of 2004 they opened more than 20 outlets in Island wide. And now Han’s menu has more than 200 food items which include western favorites, Pastas and many other delicious dishes. The Han’s Cafe bakery menu also offer a great range of cakes and pastries which are available at their all outlets.
