It occupies a quiet little corner in Tanjong Pagar, providing a quick escape for the office crowd in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This place makes a really nice post-dinner hangout, with its wide selection of desserts. You would feel like you have gone back 10 years in time stepping into this cafe. With its vintage furnishing, it creates an unpretentious atmosphere, which allows you to relax and unwind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chair display is the signature decor in the cafe. Chairs hanging on the wall are indeed eye-catching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The cakes and tarts on display look extremely delicious too! There were strong delicious smells floating towards us from time to time, making us really excited to get to our food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"fancy-title-591\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"FOOD_DRINKS\"><\/span>FOOD &amp; DRINKS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We were spoilt for choice, but we decided to give the&nbsp;<strong>Dark Chocolate Tart<\/strong>&nbsp;a try. Even though the crust could do better if it was less brittle, the taste was pretty nice. The chocolate was also rather bitter since it is made of dark chocolate. It would definitely fit the palates of those who don\u2019t fancy desserts that are too sweet. I wouldn\u2019t name this tart a star, but we did chomp it down within a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We got enticed by the delicious sounding description \u2013 \u201cdrizzled with gula melaka and shredded coconut, topped with icing sugar and freshly whipped cream\u201d. Anyone has a soft spot for gula melaka like me? So, we went ahead with&nbsp;<strong>Kelapa Waffles<\/strong>, which was essentially just a semicircle worth of waffles and gula melaka sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>With its price, I was expecting a little more, either the serving size could be bigger, or the toppings could be more elaborate. Neverthelessly, the waffle was warm and soft, and the gula melaka sauce was so delicious! It was a nice combination, and would go well with tea!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"fancy-title-674\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IN_A_NUTSHELL\"><\/span>IN A NUTSHELL<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Restore makes a great quaint hideout if you are in the area. The ambience and desserts are good enough for a visit, and I would recommend you to try out this 4 year old cafe.
