I have to say, I wasn’t expecting much from this cake. I mean, it’s a cheesecake—how good can it be?
The cheesecake is smooth and creamy with a hint of sweetness. The blueberry glaze is not too sweet or sour and has a beautiful deep color. There are also bits of real blueberries throughout the entire bite of this dessert. The biscuit base is flaky and buttery without being too much.
The blueberry mouse has a smooth texture and subtle flavor that compliments the other flavors perfectly! Overall this was a very well done dessert and I would absolutely recommend this cake to anyone who loves cheesecake or even if they didn’t; it’s that good!

Cat and the Fiddle is a story of one man’s passion for cheesecakes. In May 2014, Founder Daniel Tay established Cat and the Fiddle with the goal of selling only dessert cheesecakes at 40% cheaper than other retailers. Since then, they’ve become Singapore’s first and foremost premium halal-certified cheesecake retailer, with a shop in an industrial area and an online store that delivers throughout Singapore.
Chef Tay is no stranger to the world of luxury desserts. Trained in the art of classical French pastry- and dessert-making by some of the best pastry chefs in France, he has worked with the legendary gourmet food retailer Fauchon of Paris. In Singapore, he was the Pastry Chef of Les Amis, one of Singapore’s most famous gastronomic French restaurants.
